Reassurance needed - hcg count

Hi ladies,

I am looking for a sliver of hope.

I got a very faint positive on Thursday last week (21st) on an internet cheapie test that come with ovulation kits. The next day I got a positive digital 1-2 weeks clear blue and a faint but positive first response. On the Saturday (23) I took another first response hoping for line progression and it was slightly darker. I haven’t taken other tests.

The app puts me at 5 weeks 3 days but I honestly don’t know when I ovulated as we took a break from our fertility meds this cycle and we weren’t tracking.

Fast forward to last night, I had some bright pink spotting. This morning it was still there and a bit brown as well. Since my hospital prenatal appt was two weeks away I decided to go to the ER.

Ultrasound showed nothing (empty uterus) except a thickening of my lining, nothing in tubes. Blood test hcg is only 60.

Doctor believes I am in an active miscarriage OR I am way earlier than thought. I am being retested Friday.

Since coming home I have had some brown tiny spots in the toilet, maybe from the vaginal ultrasound but still bright pink when wiping.

Anyone else have such a low hcg with spotting that had good results as time went on? I am mainly concerned since it’s been 5-6 days since my first positive test so I would think my levels should be higher.
