Nipples cracking and bleeding with a barely 48 hours old baby.

My nipples started to crack and bleed since about 24 hours post birth. I was seen by a lactation consultant. She said all looks good when she watched me breast feed. She even said my nipples isn’t inverted. She said I don’t even need nipple shields either. I feel like my baby is latched at the tip of my nipples and it’s cracking and bleeding! I’ve read that you can have a pain free breastfeeding if you do it the right way. Please help this lady out!
