When should I take the test?

My period was suppose to come last Thursday but I still haven’t got it. I heard that you should wait two weeks so I am waiting another week to take a test. Would it be more accurate if I take the test sooner and what brand is most accurate?

I've never heard to wait two weeks before, I heard that five days is when you're period is classed as late and that is when I test, fingers crossed for you

You can test the day of your missed period. I had a positive test 4 days before I missed my period. If you are pregnant, itll show. Take a test.

I’ve never heard two weeks. You can test now, use a pink dye if you can. Digitals take a little longer and need more hcg. My doctor will do blood tests at 10 days late (prior to covid 19 times, might vary now)
