Skipping heartbeat?

I’m 35+5 and every once in awhile my heart will feel like it skips a beat or races for a second. I haven’t had any issues this pregnancy with my blood pressure or heart rate, so just curious as to if anyone else has had this?

Yes, they are heart palpitations and can be totally normal during pregnancy because of the extra fluid and blood volume but I would still bring it up to your doctor. Also, if you feel lightheaded or chest pain when it occurs you need to be seen.

Yep, in general it's totally normal just REALLY annoying.  Let your doctor know about it of you haven't.  I have it this pregnancy along with a fast hear rate.  I didn't have it with my last pregnancies so OB sent me to a cardiologist. He said everything was fine, I was just old (I'm 33 having a 4th baby) and baby was putting too much stress so I have to take it easy the rest of the pregnancy but nothing to worry about.
