Buy a test or wait?

Okay so I'm not trying to get pregnant. My husband and I had sex the day after ovulation, nothing rough or crazy just basic sex, he never finishes in me. A few hours later I started bleeding, no pain at all. I kept bleeding pretty decently for two days (never has happened before) and we had sex again, the bleeding totally stopped for a few hours then I spotted for a couple more days and it stopped. I'm now four days late on my period. Covid is pretty bad by me right now so I dont want to go out and buy a test if I dont have to. I feel like the random bleeding probably just threw my period off. Has anyone had something similar?
