So my father in law and his 3 kids (ages 18, 13, and 11) all came down to stay with my husband and I for a few days. The day before they came we bought them food (as they only eat organic) with money that my husbands father sent him. I didn’t mind them staying here, in fact I love the kids and my father in law. They are all very sweet. The day they left my husband and I were both working and they left in the morning time. When I came home the place was a huge mess.. they made beans and there were pots and pans everywhere, the kitchen was a huge mess. My tables had something sticky on it and yeah.. it wasn’t nice to come home to but whatever I can clean it. The thing that got me.. is that we told them to take the organic food as it is rightfully theirs. But when I started going through my pantry I noticed they took other food as well! Which wasn’t theirs! And just today I noticed they took our toilet paper!! We had 2 bags and there are only 4 rolls left. I’m irritated and want my husband to say something to his dad. They should not be helping themselves to the things in our house without asking first.

Am I overreacting? What would you ladies do?
