I'm about to turn 24 and i'm still a virgin... I know I shouldn't be bothered by it since "age is just a number", but it does. I'm aromantic, meaning I don't have romantic feelings for men nor women (as much as I wish I did). But this doesn't mean i'm asexual... I still find men sexually attractive.
I blatantly want to have sex without the romance... I wish I weren't this way.

If you do choose to have an online hookup up like tinder for your first time or any other time, definitely go on a date first, even if it’s not something that appeals to you in a romantic sense. You can still enjoy food and a movie with someone you’re having sex with without it being romantic. You can still enjoy bowling, or Subway, or maybe a drink and some chicken tenders somewhere. Please be safe, even if it seems a little silly to go on what’s essentially a friend date that ends in sex. Especially with all of that online hate towards the lgbtq+ community coming up.

I had sex for the first time at 31 (older than a lot of people maybe, but I waited until I was definitely sure I was ready) with a guy I met on Bumble. It was the first time we’d ever met in person, and he was fully aware that I’d never done it before. We watched a movie just to acclimate to each other before progressing into sex, and he was kind, careful, and conscientious with me the entire time. I don’t regret it even a little. We had a platonic, sex-only relationship for several months afterwards, and it was really beneficial for both of us. 
All that to say, you are allowed to do with your body what you would like to, and are not required to attach any sort of deeper intimacy to your sexual encounters if you don’t want to. 
The only thing I would recommend is to be completely honest about your situation with the people you choose to have sex with. Let them know where you stand, and don’t be afraid to let them know if you aren’t super experienced. That way you can try to avoid hurt feelings (for either person), as well as hopefully having a first encounter that is pleasurable and fun instead of uncomfortable and regrettable. 
Also, please be safe, especially if you decide to have sex with someone you don’t know well or are only just meeting. Use protection and don’t be afraid to be vocal about anything that you aren’t enjoying/aren’t comfortable with. I also recommend letting someone know (I told my sister, but a trusted friend is good too) where you’re going to be and when you’ll be there, just in case anything goes in a direction it shouldn’t.
