Have you ever felt unsafe only for having dark skin color?

Please be honest. I am really trying to see the stats on this. Let me know if you ever felt unsafe in a place because you are of a darker complexity.

I called my best friend today to talk to her about what all is going on. To get her take on it and hear her concerns. She’s black. But she said she’s never felt unsafe. But she understand why people do. I wish no one felt unsafe because of the color of their skin. 😔

One of my best friends is black & ive been texting her like crazy & praying for her. while she was driving a white man tried to attack her & she wasn't protesting or anything she was simply driving somewhere. Her boyfriend is also black & they're in fear & i just feel so bad & worried for them. Im

I don’t fear as much as some people with darker skin than me but I remain unsteady around cops. I fear for my fathers life who is a darker skin tone. He had multiple incidents with cops in the “good” neighborhoods, and the “bad” ones.

I think every ethnicity comes with problems. In this generation we all get made fun of for being a certain way and yes darker people do go through a lot but they aren’t the only ones!

I feel anxious when my kids are on tbe way. They are mixed race, I am sure I would feel more comfortable if they would be white.
