Can you be asymptotic for genital herpes your whole life?

I got a 1.1 blood test and never experienced and outbreak and was told I got a false positive.

Answer

These test are tricky in my opinion. I had gotten positive results 1.1, 5.4, and lower at one lab and the same blood same would be sent to another lab and get a full blown negative every time with the same test sample for about a year now with no symptoms. & keep getting told it’s a false positive.. I would say keep waiting and retest.
