“Not a good Mum...”

I’ve been potty training my 2.5 year old (with slight speech and language delay) since 23 May. He wears boxer-type underwear at the moment. Anyway, he makes his own way to the potty most of the day. And every day he has maybe 1 or 2 misses because he’s too busy playing. My MIL said to my partner that I’m not a good Mum, because obviously he’s not ready to potty train, and I’m forcing him!

She’s not right...right? 😕
