Weight Advice
I have been working out consistently (weights and cardio) and being more mindful about what I eat for the last 4 months. I don’t count calories due to that being a trigger for my ED, but I have made a point to seriously cut down on snack food/eating out.
For my height, I am about 50 lbs “overweight”, so you’d think I would be able to lose weight pretty easily, at least at first. However, I have not lost a single pound. If anything, I have gained 2-3 pounds.
I don’t eat more than usual now that I work out, and I try to drink at least 50 oz of water a day.
I feel stronger, I feel good, I have noticed a change in the size of my arm muscles, etc.... but I can’t get the number on the scale out of my mind.
What am I doing wrong that I can’t lose weight? I cannot fit any more exercise into my schedule, and I’m scared to restrict any more food or I may get stuck back in my ED again.
So defeated. 😔
