What helps baby stay asleep

My 8 month old will not stay asleep i give him a bath bottle then put him to bed but he wakes up at least 3 times a night I’ve tried white noise it doesn’t help

Thats normal. EVERYBODY wakes up during the night. Its the normal sleep cycle. Adults just dont tend to notice or remember it.

Yep completely normal and three times isn’t to bad we have nights where I’m up every 1-2hrs

He’ll sleep in the night when he’s developmentally ready. My kids slept 8 hours since 6 weeks, on their own though.

They sleep through the night when they are ready. My babe didn’t start consecutively sleeping through the night until she was 10 months. Oh and now she’s waking up due to teething. So they never really stay asleep .... there’s always going to be something. 
She would wake up at least once to be fed before 10 months occasionally. 
And obv when she was younger she would wake up often to feed. I would feed her in the dark and NOT change her diaper unless she pooped. She usually went right back to bed.
My advice is have a good solid night time routine that signals babies brain “okay time for bed” and be consistent. I would feed her after her bath, in my bed because we room share and then I would hold her until I could feel her body relax and then place her in her crib.

It's normal to wake but your baby isnt settling himself so I would suggest sleep training at this point. I did Ferber Method.
