Covid increase due to protests?

So covid has been on the back burner in the news lately and I'm really going to be bothered if we dont see a respective increase in covid cases since large protest groups have formed lately.

Anybody heard of numbers increasing? If they havent, what's the explanation?! Like if we dont see these numbers move up like they should, I'm gonna be pissed that all these inconvenient shutdowns and unemployment happened unnecessarily. I guess I'm just ranting and ready for this covid mess to be over with lol.
