Two year old not talking..

Is anyone 2 year old not talking any words yet? Our son is 2 years & 1 month & can't say any words. At around a year he could say Daddy but this soon stopped. He makes lots of noises but doesn't seem to attempt copying noises you make.

He otherwise has a good understanding of what we say to him.. climb in your chair, lay down for your nappy, put the toys away & so on he understands alot, just can't say words!

Any help or advice would be appreciated we are first time parents & he was 3 weeks early if it makes any difference?
