Mucus plug, labor signs?

I’m 39+3 & On Wednesday I lost 3 really big chunks of my mucus plug, yet every time I go to the bathroom more strings of mucus come out! Idk how I haven’t lost the entire thing yet since it’s been days of this now, and no bloody show. ???

I’ve only felt a couple contractions within the week & have felt mild cramping a couple times.

I keep thinking I’m going to start labor soon, & then nothing happens ☹️
