Baby using their hands?

Question

Almost everything I’m reading tells me my little girl should be using her hands. She’ll chew on her hand when she’s upset, hold my boob as she nurses, but that’s about it. She doesn’t reach toward anything and she seems adverse to us touching her hands, she’ll pull them into her body quickly. 
She’s 13 weeks as of today. Should I be worried? What are other babies doing? What should I try to help her find her hands?

I think some of these milestones also depend on baby’s personality. This is my third and by far my most chill and laid back baby (thank goodness)! She doesn’t get really excited by too much, but also doesn’t get bothered/irritated by too much either, she’s just content! She has reached for a few toys on her play mat recently (12 weeks today), but she is perfectly happy just looking at them and and smiling away.

My baby is 13 weeks and just started grabbing things. I think he’s been working on his language skills and blowing bubbles instead 😂 they develop at their own pace. Don’t stress!

I read that depending on what skills they're developing first, other ones come later. 
This being said, maybe there's just nothing shes interested in yet. Try finding something she likes or as other people said, dangling different things over her. 
Mine loves shapes and is just starting to like sounds but just started reaching for things now (she's 12 weeks). Instead, she started using her voice and can have a full on babble conversation with us. I know some babies dont start babbling for a few weeks later. 
It really all depends on the baby, they're all different so while there are milestones, there aren't any specific times they HAVE to reach them. Some skills develop sooner and some later. 
I suggest getting the book "The Wonder Weeks". As a FTM I've found it to be extremely helpful

Try hanging something above them when they are laying or in a bouncy chair. See if they show interest with there eyes, if they do I wouldn’t worry about it, I’m sure baby will be there soon, if not maybe getting their eyes checked might be a proactive step?

Mine is 10 weeks today and only just now starting to kinda fling his arms around when he is on his playmat. He can death grip sometimes when I put toys in his hand but he doesn’t acknowledge that he’s holding anything. More like a reflex for him to grip but eventually will drop it lol. 
He babbles like a maniac though! So I think some babies just focus on learning other abilities first. I wouldn’t worry! It’ll come soon enough! Maybe just keep trying tummy time/mat play time and try different toys to see if one catches her attention!
