Did anyone do one? Did anyone just skip it and just open the envelope?

(We had a loss at 16 weeks so I’m a little nervous about having a party, I’m 12 weeks now and I have the envelope with the gender. I don’t even care what the gender is, I just want to FINALLY be able to hold a healthy baby after nearly two years of trying and one loss... but I also want to include family, I’m torn!)
