So I will be giving birth Oct 17th and I already don’t like being in hospitals and I been looking into birthing centers. Which one do you moms recommend?

If you been to a birthing center what was your experience. Did you like it or not?

I’m choosing the hospital, but birthing centers are a great option as long as your pregnancy isn’t high risk! I would ask your OB lots of questions about both and choose whatever feels more comfortable for you!

For me its birth center 100%. I also don't like hospitals, they just give me anxiety. I had to be induced due to PROM with my first so I had to be at a hospital and for me it was just not a great experience. The induction was long and exhausting, too many interventions, I was constantly hooked up to the machines and they wouldn't let me get up and move around during labor like I wanted to. This is just MY experience. I am not speaking for anyone else nor am I saying what's best for me would be best for every woman. I would encourage you to do research on both and decide on what feels right for you. I had my second at a birth center and it was a dream. The environment was so much more relaxed and I was able to labor how I wanted to. And being able to go home hours after was such a huge plus. I will be planning the same for the next baby.

The birthing centers where I’m at offer just as much as a hospital so it’s really no difference.
