How often do you talk to your boyfriend?

It honestly drives me insane how my boyfriend communicates. He’ll text me good morning in the morning. Well send maybe 2/3 texts throughout the day EVEN THOUGH he is on social media all day. We will usually talk on the phone later at night but for some reason it drives me insane that he doesn’t text me more. When I bring it up to him he says we don’t have to text all day when we see eachother like 4 days a week. 
Do your boyfriends communicate like this as well????

my boyfriend and i live an hour away from each other, we go to different colleges. 
We see each other every weekend after we are done w work and he will come to see me on the weekday as well. 
We talk all the time, i told him before we got serious that i don’t like being left on seen, i told him that if he didn’t want to talk to me to let me know and i’d give him space, we have been together for 1yr8m (on saturday).

My bf will call me every morning , then he will text me . Usually we jus text till he comes over bc we see eachother every single day . But when we don’t see eachother we will be otp for an hour or two , or we’ll text every few minutes . Every relationship is different but it’s kinda a routine for us now . He calls me in the morning , texts me , then he comes over

Me bf and I communicate exactly like this. Good morning text then midday check in texts and we call each other before bed. And we only see each other once a week because of work and distance. But it really doesn’t bother me. He has a life I have a life and it’s ok not to text every second of the day. I think it better because it leaves more room to talk about what happened through out the today￼. In reality “wyd” texts are going to get old.

It really all depends on how our day is going. Some days we will literally talk all day, either on the phone or texting. Other days, we maybe send one text if that.
