Nursing time length?

My daughter nurses one side for 3-8 minutes and will go 2 hours or longer without eating again. Anyone else? Sometimes when she's starting to get tired I can get her to nurse 10 minutes on both sides, but that's maybe once a day. She averages 40-60 minutes a day nursing. Just curious if anyone has a similar situation.

My daughter has times where she only nurses for 5-10 minutes. And sometimes she just comes to the boob for a “sip”. I still nurse her to sleep for naps and at night time and those are always a bit longer. But never longer than 15-20.

Yes we are in that range. I think it’s normal and they are efficient nursers now. It bugs me tho when he doesn’t eat in both sides.  First thing in the morning and bedtime nursing are usually long tho.

My son is about 3 minutes per boob (half of that is playing around). He feeds 5x per day.

My son refuses to switch over, always has. He eats anywhere from 2-4 minutes on one side and every 2-2.5 hours.
