New DEO causing worse BO?!

Question

Is that even possible? I bought a new deodorant that’s aluminum free. Since using it I’ve noticed my BO actually is worse and I need to reapply after a few hours 😶 I’ve never had this happen and don’t usually have BO so this is also weird 😅😂 but I’ve also never used aluminum free

Your body has to get used to it and will essentially detox like your hair would when people stop using shampoo. I had the same issue when i switched. It took probably 1-2 months? Now i don't have any issues. I use the arm & hammer essentials with natural deodorizers. My arm pits are softer now, i naturally smell better, and its actually easier to shave my underarms now. Just keep using it and your body will adjust.

I’m so glad you shared this... I thought it was just me lol 
I tried both Native and Live Clean. By the end of the day, I was smelling like I don’t know what... either ammonia (Native) or a cheesesteak with onions (Live Clean). I switched to Nivea aluminum free deodorant and that’s worked much better for me. It may not be as “natural” as the others, but I had to compromise so that I wouldn’t burn my husband’s nose off.

Only one that works for me is the classic Dove (dark blue cap). Anything and everything else I've tried ends up making me smell worse, this one simply smells clean. I'll also wear perfume if I want to smell good. But never ever a different deodorant.
