Did your pets know when it was close/when you were in labor?

My 14 year old cat has been very clingy this evening. This is my second pregnancy and she wasn’t like this with the first.. I’ve been having intermittent contractions all day and lost some more of my mucus plug. I’m hoping these are all signs that we are close.. I’m 39 weeks today.

Wondering too.. i know he knows im pregnant .. but was wondering if he could sense if i got close to going into labor

I think so! My cat sat on my belly, which he didn't normally do, and a few hours later my water broke. I thought at the time it was odd but later wondered if he knew something that I didn't (my waters broke early at 35 weeks and we found out during the c-section that my placenta had started detaching). I believe animals have a sense about these things...
