First time video call!-idk what to think

Hey Ladies and everyone!

I am 28,he is 32.We live in different countries and from different cultures, he is from Morocco and I am an Asian woman. I never dated but he has been in long term relationships before. We met on a marriage site and have been calling and texting for about 2months. But he is a very quite guy. I have been asking to do a video chat but he has been wanting to meet fact to face.

But I wanted him to see me on video before (if) we decide to meet.

So we finally did a super short video call. I was looking presentable and he was looking pretty sharp (he was going out to a friend’s) but through out the call (I was super shy) and he kept looking here and there. He was like he didn’t look like this actor that I am into but that was him. He didn’t say how I looked but he was like you are shy and a good person.

I turned off the camera and we spoke (I am not comfortable in my body at all and I hate myself for it).

We then spoke about what kind of person we r looking for(which we did before!) .He was like you are so shy, and I like you because u respect me. And it was good that you asked me if I liked curvy women and he did his usual laugh (he said he liked curvy women,but I am not really sure.) he said I was very pretty MashAllah.I asked him if he would like to meet and he said yes and said he would say yes 100 times if I needed him to say it.

But I am not sure if he really liked seeing me, because he didn’t seem super excited but he was pleasant, calm as always.but I don’t know what to make of this whole situation. Can was it positive or no? Should we still keep speaking? I’d like to and he said he would and also mentioned that things for relationships take time. I have not idea since I’ve never been in one. Any thoughts to help me out here? Thanks!

EDIT: We both live in different European countries (hence its easier for us to meet) despite having grown up in our own countries.

Also, I don’t mind the religious part tbh.I am more concerned about what kind of a guy he might be and if he really is into me or not. 😅
