Weekend away

How many of you have had a weekend away at this point?

My husband wants us to go away camping with all our friends in July. This is a yearly tradition and everyone is able to relay on their families to help watch their children.

Our orginal plan was my mom was going to watch our son. She just had a stroke. My in laws are not capable to watch our son (long story and I would never ask them, age ability and relationship is not in place.)

We cannot ask our siblings due to their age being too old to help (huge age difference in families) and they have their own grandchildren and the ones our age are pregnant and high risk.

Who can we ask? I am tempted to have my husband go alone again the 3rd year in a row but we so desperately need time together too. I also need a break. We have had one date since baby has been born and I am ready.

Any advice? When family is out of the question to help and you are traveling with friends who can we ask? I feel so selfish for even trying to come up with a plan.

I have been away from my son 1 night due to my surgery going wrong and needing to be in the hospital longer. So I am open for it. Just don't know how to go about asking anyone when so many of our first, second, third, fourth, and fifth options are for sure not going to work. Help...

***please be kind, we have been through the mill lately. We care for so many of our family members and unfortunately they are not in a position to help us in return. I also have watched multiple children for date nights and weekends for other and due to their situations we cannot ask for help to return the favor. How do we even have a date?
