When to wear makeup?

Question

Any good and bad experiences with makeup for delivery? I’m not a person that’s big on wearing makeup, (probably because I kinda suck at it) but when I had my daughter all the pictures that were taken, I looked like a friendly ghost, with the darkest eye bags￼.🤦🏽‍♀️
Ladies if you have any recommendations on the simple, cute and quick makeup looks that worked out for you, please let me know or post pictures below?☺️🙏🏽💜

Maybe if you want just do concealer under your eyes to brighten that area. But personally I cant imagine wearing makeup during labor and delivery. I was sweaty and crying because I had no pain meds. And after baby was born the last thing on my mind was getting dolled up, i was just focused on my newborn. I dont mind how tired i look in pictures, that’s what it was

I cannot imagine wearing makeup while giving birth. Especially if you sweat and/or cry. It’s okay to look tired and stressed after birth. You just pushed a 7 or so pound baby out of your vagina. And for a c section, they’ll likely have you take it off. And after delivery, I can’t imagine caring. Wear it if you want, but I don’t see the point. I’m not expecting moms to look like they’re about to walk the red carpet in photos after they’ve just given birth.

I have on makeup for my second because I was headed to friends dinner party! Even through the sweating and crying only my mascara mildly smudged. I was shocked how it all stayed in and it wasn’t an easy delivery. It was horrendous pain.

Whenever you want, depending on what you are comfortable with!
Some women will tell you don’t bother. Others will say do it if it makes you feel good.
I did my make before going to the hospital so I had make up on during labour and delivery. It made me feel good. Do whatever feels right for you.

I didn’t wear makeup before, during, or after. To eat their own! Do what you feel is right. I didn’t see the point in wearing any before or during labor as I’d just sweat it off and look a hot mess.

Depends what you’re comfortable with, my first labour i was so hot and sweaty i couldn’t imagine having a full face on so this pregnancy i’m going to get eyelash extensions just to feel somewhat put together and that way when we go home and have visitors i’m half done up. And i made sure i tanned before my due date 😂 Maybe just some brows and mascara if you don’t want to do too much

I did a full face if make up before i left for the hospital and also did my hair 😅
If you want something light, some concealer would help the undereye issue.
