Checking on baby in crib??

Question

My baby is in her crib tonight because its the only place she will sleep. I'm nervous because she usually sleeps next to me. I have a camera monitor but I still want to check on her 😭 idk why I'm so nervous. Do you guys go in and check on your babies that are in cribs?

Mine will only sleep in the crib too... I've been sleeping on the floor in the nursery in front of the crib! 😂 My postpartum anxiety won't trust the camera. I have never slept so well on a floor in my life!

Mine sleeps in a crib across from me in my room. It’s still hard to see him so I always have the monitor on. But he’s been sleeping in it since he was born. I just keep nothing else in it. He doesn’t like to be swaddle so we wrap a blanket on him under his belly and keep his arms out of it. He’s always done really well with it. But I’m always on edge and hear every movement.

That’s so Normal mama! When I moved my son to the crib at 5 months he slept through the night and I joked I didn’t sleep at all Bc I was watching his chest move on the monitor! It’s normal nurturing motherly instinct.

We moved our little one into her own room last week at 6 weeks after discovering that she slept so much better in her crib than the bassinet. My husband and I slept on the floor in her room for the first three nights because we were nervous to leave her even with the three baby monitors we have lol

I moved my baby to a pack n play in our room. I sleep with the tv on bc I’m too afraid to go into a deep sleep. If I hear him make any noise I jump out the bed like an athlete. I think it’s a mom thing to be nervous. I suggest moving a bed near the crib. I won’t relax until the risk of SIDS decreases after 6 months.

I usually don’t. Mine has been in her own room since week 2 and in her crib since about 6 or 7 weeks. I don’t have a video monitor. Just an audio one. Occasionally if I want to check on her I just quietly go in and check. I usually leave her door slightly ajar. That’s what I did with my first two kids as well.

I moved a single bed next to her and sleep there. There isn't room for her cot next to our main bed

We just started her in her crib last week and then over the weekend she had a tough couple of days so she ended up back in our bed but went back to her bed Monday and she was good as gold. 
I am still SO paranoid about SIDS ... On the other hand, I really enjoy sleeping and being intimate with my husband again. 
I have a monitor and I'm consistently checking it. Now that she also is starting to roll over, I'm even more scared. Even if she doesn't get up her once a night, I do.
