Birth control (iud)

So i am currently on the skyla birth control I’ve normally been having regular periods on it but my last period that I have was on May 23rd- 27th it wasn’t heavy at all I was just spotting and then not bleeding and then bleeding on and off . I was wondering if that was my iud trying to make my periods stop all together or what ? My next period is suppose to start in 2 days but I’m having no symptoms what’s so ever like I normally do . I am sexually active but we always use protection so I know I’m not pregnant . Any thoughts ? Or suggestions ? Also I’m having a weird vagina smell with some normal discharge .
