::This is Postpartum::⁣ ⁣ Advantages of a summer baby: beautiful weather for maternity leave, being able to go on walks, spend time outside... Disadvantages: Having to put on a swimsuit about a month after giving birth. 😳⁣ ⁣ Last weekend was our first weekend at the lake, which meant my first time in a swimsuit. As easy as it is to love my postpartum body at home in stretchy pants and oversized tees, it’s another thing to love myself out in public around other people in a little swimsuit. ⁣ ⁣ I made the mistake of packing one of my pre-pregnancy one pieces that fit way too small and I had to wear shorts to feel comfortable, but I did it! I’m not the mommy that stands on the side lines (that’s okay if you are), I want to do all the things, so I sucked it up and I wore the damn thing! And ya know what? Laying out in the sun and playing in the water felt good! Totally worth it! ⁣ ⁣ Going forward, I took myself shopping, went up a size, and found myself a couple new suits that I can feel confident in! I added them at the end and will add them to my @liketoknow.it if you want the deets! ⁣ ⁣ Getting the approval to start working out again this week (hopefully), so I took these pictures to keep track of where I’m at. Not putting any pressure on myself to look a certain way, but as someone who loves to be active and hike and bike and kayak and climb, I can’t wait to feel strong and fit again!⁣ ⁣ For now, enjoy my stretchies and cellulite and veins and back rolls and squishy bits! 😂 If they gross you out or offend you, feel free to unfollow! 👋 I might not have flat abs, but I have a beautiful baby boy and handsome husband that love me and my squishy bits where we’re at! ❤️
