Come at me all y'all want I'm just annoyed

I realize no one likes mowing the lawn, but every single time my father has to go mow it he complains. Every single time out sink isn't working or toilet or washer/dryer, he complains.

It's so freaking annoying, like if you didn't want to have to fix things why did you become a home owner? It's okay to complain sometimes, but about literally every single thing you do unless it's"just veggin"? Like geez that's can't having responsibilities and being an adult. This man's last day of work was March 13th and TBD when he's going back, but we're thinking in July some time.

If I could I would do these things for his just to shut him up, but I can't. I don't know how to fix all these appliances and he's definitely not gonna teach me cause it's work enough just to do it himself. I can't even mow the lawn cause we have a push mower and it vibrates waaaaay to much for me to use (I'm very petite).

Oh and y'all know what I found out the other day? I knew neither of my parents had a savings (my mom didn't start working again until 2ish years ago), but APPARENTLY he doesn't have a 401k. I asked what he and my mom are going to do when they're older and he says "our kids will take care of us".

Okay let me get this straight, I would have zero issues with taking care of them when they're older, my sister wouldn't either, but neither of us have money and probably won't in the future either, definitely not enough to take care of them the way parents deserve. We'd take care of them was much as we could, but more than likely they're gonna end up working until an old age and they're already getting up there in age (turning 52 and 54 in Oct).
