When is it safe to start trying again after birth?

I don’t plan on having a baby after a baby.. although I’ve seen a lot of different information about it.
Is a year in between a good time?

18 months is the recommendation. Granted that's not always the case, but it's just the recommendation. There's still a lot happening inside your body that you can't see or feel. Such as your organs moving back to where they originally were before pregnancy.

My OB actually said that since I had a good pregnancy and delivery that there was no reason to hold back if we wanted another. 
I gave birth 16 months pp (pregnant around 7/8 months pp). I got around to 7 months pp with that one too and well... There goes the countdown again 😂 
Be sure to be well nourished now that you've had a baby. Continue taking prenantals, they're great for recovery alone but will help rebuild you to carry another. 🙂 Lots of fats and proteins, and a regular (simple yet effective) exercise routine, all steps to being the best you can be for the sibling 😉

My obgyn told me any time is fine after my second baby and told me the same thing after my third. My kids are all roughly 2 years apart though thanks to breastfeeding

My OB recommends 12 months with a vaginal birth and a minimum of 18 months with a c-section for best outcome.
