Sad on fathers day

It’s fathers day and today I get to watch everyone post pictures with their dads and talk about how good their dads are to them on social media. Unfortunately I don’t get to do any of that. My dad does not want to be in my life anymore. The last time I saw him was at a funeral a few months ago and he didn’t even speak to me . So this day is very uncomfortable for me to say the least. I’m happy for people who have good relationships with their dad even though I don’t. I was even told by my therapist I have to set boundaries with my father which I have a hard time doing but it must be done. So no I didn’t call my dad today. Call me bitter or rude if you want I don’t care. 😕
