Should i wish him a happy Father's day
He doesn't see our daughter....like ever. Literally today is June 21st 2020. And the last time he saw her was February 6th 2020.
Before you jump down my throat....NO I DO NOT WITH HOLD HIM FROM SEEING HER AT ALL.
He always (probably every 10 days) complains about how much he misses her. But hes always too busy. Or works late. Or forgot. Or already made weekend plans. Or something. I totally understand that people have lives and things come up. But don't tell the world that you miss your kid and don't really make a REAL effort to see her. We all know "you make time for what's important to you".
And no he isn't sick, not dying, not unaware of where we live, he is able to have as much access to her as he would like. He frequently says if you need help just ask for it. But I never do ask for his help because he's never done anything for her. One time I wanted to go crib shopping he was busy. When I bought a crib he was upset because I didn't let him help. Just before I gave birth, I went out and bought her a car seat and stroller. He was like you should have told me you were getting her a travel system. I was like why would i tell you? I'm pregnant. About to have a baby. The baby will need a car seat. It isnt rocket science. I dont need to say she needs a car seat. He's never bought her diapers or wipes or clothes or anything. The one time I asked him to pick up formula on his way over and he just never came over. Apparently he fell asleep. So no i don't ask for his help. I dont believe you need to tell a parent what to get a child. You have a baby. A baby needs clothes. Food. Toys. Bottles. Wipes. Diapers. Baby wash. Common sense. Not once has he been like i wanna get her diapers what size is she in.
Rant over here. Do I wish him a happy fathers day. When really he isn't a father (at least not to our baby)
