When did your V*** heal Postpartum?

Almost 4 weeks postpartum here and my vagina still looks wide open compared to pre-baby. I have 1st and 2nd degree tears and stitches. Now as of this last week my discharge has a smell to it. It's not fishy so I wasn't worried about it until my husband started complaining about what the smell is when we laid in bed at night. After I told him it was me he of course told me not to worry cause I just went through some tramatic body changes. But now I'm wondering is this normal?!

What are your experiences?

I have a telemedicine app for my 4 week postpartum on Fri but I move out of state Sat morning so I'm not sure if I should get in earlier.
