Kids sharing rooms...opinions?

Question

We currently have a 5 bedroom house and we are trying to get pregnant with baby #4. This will be our last baby. 
Our dilemma. We love our house, but the town we live in is not the best/safest. We are debating at this point in time if we would be better off living on base (husband is military). We hate to get rid our our house, but safety is a bigger priority. 
My kids would have to share bedrooms if we lived on base...especially if we have another baby. I don’t know if it’s fair. We are already in process of having another baby—using fertility treatments. 
Our kids are 9 years old, and 5 year old twins (boy/girl). 
What are your thoughts? I’d love some advice.

Sharing rooms is perfectly acceptable and preferable if you worry about safety. Your twins are young enough it wouldn't be weird for them to share.

As a 9 year old, I wouldn’t want to be in a room with a 5 year old, but idk why the 5 year olds can’t share a room like Jack and Diane do on the show Black-ish.

There’s nothing wrong with sharing a room. I shared a room with my sister, who is 5 years older than me, from when I was born until I was 11. You need to do what you (the parents) think is best for your family.

I don't see a problem sharing rooms. My girls are 8 and 5 and they share a room, they feel more comfortable being together. And my boys that are 7 and 3 share a room
