My son plays with his private part?

My son is 7 1/2 months old and when I put him in the bath he plays with his pee pee... he grabs it and tries to splash it around. Is this normal? I know a lot of young boys do this but seems a little young? I’m a FTM and have never been around little boys. My husband says it’s normal and he has 4 brothers. Opinions?

Ha! My little one found his penis when he was like 5 months, and he rediscovers it every couple of weeks. It’s like he’s never seen it before and it’s a new toy. It’s completely normal, he’s learning his body. It’s also ok to say “penis”.

I would say it’s normal he’s at that age where he’s discovering new things specially on his body I’ve never had boys but I remember my nephew when he was 9/10 months old would play with his balls like pull on them poor kid would make them red

Definitely normal. Mine’s been playing with his penis since he was 5 or so months. Lots of girls do the same thing with their genitals actually. Can’t see down there so you gotta touch.
