Baby food meat purée, buy ground beef or beef steak?

Hi, I am planning to buy some meat to make purée for my baby. I have ninja to chop it at home. Did you buy ground beef directly or beef steak? Is there any difference if I use it to make purée? Which one is better for baby? Thank you a lot!

I used ground beef and added it to a hearty vegetable soup. Then puréed that all together. It’s much more tasty than plain puréed beef. But I did ground instead of chopped since it purées more easily with the cooked soup veggies.

We didn’t use meat in purées too often.  But, my son has always had organic ground beef.  It has more fat, a great source of nutrients and more versatile.  Most often, I make soup stock with meatballs and add a variety of vegetables.  It’s one of his favorites.

Meat purée is nasty. Just finely chop it up and give it to babe with a little bit of sauce. They’ll think they are in heaven.

I agree with the others that meat puree is gross! However, I'd recommend ground beef as it has a little bit more fat than steak which baby needs for their growing brain and body.
