Sleeping through the night?

I have a one month old and he wakes maybe 1-2 times to eat, I’m co-sleeping at the moment since I’m breastfeeding and it’s what works for us. If he doesn’t wake to eat (sleeps through the night) should I still wake him to change his diaper? I just don’t want him sleeping in a soaked diaper but I’m not too sure if it’s okay for him to sleep through the night if it’s not bothering him?

If they are uncomfortable or hungry, they’ll wake up. Unless you know they pooped, I wouldn’t wake them 🤷🏻‍♀️ I always change when they wake up to eat but otherwise, I leave my kids as is

My kids always wake up and fuss when they have a full diaper so that's when I change them. I don't wake them up to change them though. As soon as they wake up themselves I do a diaper change.

Many dont change their baby if it s just pee..if u use a zinc oxide type oint.ent n a good diaper it ll jeep Baby dry n no rash ( in my experience) When baby is big enough to put his / her hands in the diaper area or I only use a lesser cream like A n D..I only paid for an expensive organic cream once ..as a single mom I used an d until baby really puts hands there than vaselline
