Pregnant!!!!! with metformin (PCOS & TTC)

Hello everyone

I thought I would share my amazing news!!!!!! Me and my partner were TTC but got diagnosed with pcos which made our journey super long! We had our first apt at the fertility clinic for clomid next Tuesday but I took a test yesterday and it came back positive WAHHOOO!!!

I wanted to share because I joined this app in a time when I wanted to give up. I used to look at women who were pregnant or announcing their pregnancy and cry and wish it was me but the voice in my head told me it would never happen for me. I just wanted to say I wish every single one of you who are struggling the best of luck, and all the hope in the world that you conceive and all your dreams come true.

I started on Metformin through my GP as an interim measure a few months ago (something to try while waiting for fertility clinic as our apt was pushed back due to COVID-19) and I had one period (14/05) and this month was late so I didn’t believe they worked (as they are supposed to help regulate your cycle and in effect help you ovulate by helping with insulin resistance). I almost gave up again and was in constant tears and then this news arrived! So I would urge everyone not to give up on your dreams I know it’s the hardest thing in the world but you will get there! Also thank you all for the support you have with each other on here it really has saved me from giving up a lot of times!!!
