Powdered Formula ?

I never used powdered formula with my first i always used RTF.. thinking of using powdered this time around if breastfeeding isn’t an option again.. do you prefer powder or RTF ? pros cons ? if you use powder , what kind of water did you mix with ? TIA the stress level is real these days🤦🏼‍♀️💘

I just use filtered water from my refrigerator. You’ll want a formula mixing pitcher—they’re a Godsend.

I used ice mountain water and bought a baby brezza. Worth every penny in my opinion. Just make sure you follow the cleaning instructions

I always just used powdered formula. And I always just used room temperature water🤷🏻‍♀️ I never used special filtered water. Never boiled it. My son only liked it room temp 🙃🤷🏻‍♀️ He is perfectly fine

I used powdered formula at home and just used tap water usually. My son got used to room temp bottles so I didn’t have to worry about warming things up which was nice. When we traveled, I used premade bottles because they were easier.

All my kids have had this for at least part of their first year. Never done RTF. I make bottles as needed with tap water, I don't mix up a pitcher or anything like that. I have 4 kids. I think the powder is a little cheaper too. Never been an issue. Good luck!

We used powdered formula and filtered water from a Brita for his early months. eventually we switched to tap water and a few months after that my sons lead tests started coming back high. it got up to 20. We had to have someone come out and test our house and found out it’s quite literally full of lead paint, and our water also came back positive for lead. I’d be careful with plain tap.

I prefer powder. It’s cheaper and easier to prepare on the go. I used powder with my first, we used tap water to mix it. My second had reflux which for whatever reason got a zillion times worse with powder no matter what kind we tried, so we had to use RTF with him.
