Will there be regular school for kids next school year?

So i want to go to work so bad but i work at an elementary school and we stopped working due to the covid 19. I highly doubt there will be a next year Because some parents are frightened to send their kids to school now with all this going on.. so idk if we will still get paid😥 if we dont work next school year 2020-2021.. what is the update around the world where u ladies live at? Is there school in session still? ￼  are u sending ur kid to school?

I dont know,but I really hope not. I live in Florida and just this past Friday we had 9000 new cases

I just got hired in a small Montessori school in California, we will initiate our year in September with lots of restrictions. Like checking kids temperature daily in the parking lot, before they even walk into the school biulding... research has been showing kids are much leas to get symptoms of Covid and when does is mild and much less to spread to adults.

I have a hard time believing any district will just not have school. What that educational experience looks like is still being determined, but we will continue to educate our students. 
A parent survey for our district came back with 75% of those responding wanting to physically send their kids to school, 23% wanting to do online, and 2% unsure. The current plan is to have full staff and students at school and make accommodations for those who are not able or are uncomfortable attending. But that may change by Sept 1. Just look at Texas and Florida - it’s not getting better. 
Teachers have always had to be flexible. Now the families have to be as well. Hopefully this is showing families that schools are not there to simply babysit your children and that educating is actually quite difficult and teachers are seriously underpaid and under appreciated.

I stay in Houston, and at first they had said that there was going to have classes, but now we are on a second mayor round of COVID that they were going to evaluate school again. I won’t be sending my son to school do to his health. He has asthma, and his allergies are beyond him self. I just hope everyone puts a part on all this so it can stop spreading. I don’t go out, but today I have to since we are out of groceries :(
