Ear pain while hippucing

Hi, I’m 15, turning 16 next month. Only mentioning my age because I know usually children get ear infections. I had my first ever ear infection last September. Flash forward to now and I get a lot of ear wax, so much that it usually falls out of my ear. And when I’m in the shower and throughout the day I use my fingernail to get the extra wax out of the outside of my ear. One day In the shower I don’t know if I went too far in, but it really hurt. I thought maybe I had another infection but the symptoms wore off, plus the outside of my ear didn’t hurt. But when I hiccup, I get a little bit of ear pain. And sometimes when I stick my finger inside my ear to get the wax it hurts. But no other symptoms. Sorry this is so long. Any idea of what this could be?
