Have you introduced your March baby to toilet?

Question

I’m considering getting ours out and just putting him on it before bath and maybe morning and night. I don’t know the first thing about potty training and I’m not trying to rush it but he knows when he’s going to poop and he always does at the same time each morning.

Most friends and family I know don’t have an official potty trained babe until 3 years old. We’ve been bringing him with us to the potty and explaining what we’re doing/letting him flush, telling him not to play in the potty etc. 
sometimes when I’m changing his diaper I’ll say something like “one day you won’t need diapers and you’ll use the potty” etc. 
I’m pregnant and due in October so it’s not reasonable for us to think we will be potty training before he turns two unless he is very very interested and ready.

Is that 2% lying or hit it by accident? 🤔😂 we have a little potty in the living room. He likes to take his pants off so I try to explain to him what it's used for but I usually just end up wiping up pee.

We’re not really potty training but I started introducing my son to the potty at 14 months. I put him on for 10 minutes after he wakes up in the morning/after naps. We don’t have high expectations but it’s going well so far (ie, he poops and pees). 
He can’t talk though so I don’t think it’s possible to really potty train until he can communicate his needs to us. There are some potential risks of early potty training also so we’re not going to rush it.

I had my first in underwear a week after his 2nd bday. I can tell my March baby is going to be easy too. I can take his diaper off and he won’t pee in the floor he will wait til we go outside and pee in the grass Which is exactly how I started with my first one. I know weird, but it has worked for us. But I won’t even try underwear til he’s right at 2.

We started potty training in May. She now pretty much stays dry during the day.  We still do diapers at night.

We got the book Oh Crap Potty Training. They explain that kids show signs of readiness when they start taking their diapers off themselves. That said, it’s also difficult before or after the 20-30 month window, due to varying issues. 
My son holds his urine through most of the night and only lets it go around 3-5am. He has used the potty before but we haven’t started any official training. Sometimes he is excited to go use the potty and other times, he flat out refuses and pees right in front of it.

Just for fun since my Son likes to take off his diaper. So every morning when he wakes up I put on potty. He pee, we clap and get a diaper on. So we introduced it to him since he seem interested but will take serious at 18 months or during winter break 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just have it sitting out beside ours for exposure but definitely not trying to get him to actually use it yet
