Well, I made the appointment...

Katy

After 3 years of no success getting pregnant, I made the call to my doctor to discuss my infertility. That’s a word I just recently started coming to terms with... “infertility”. I have PCOS, so I’m familiar with the word in general, I’ve just never used it to describe myself. Last night for the first time I said the words “I am struggling with infertility” out loud to my husband and just started crying.

Going to the doctor somehow makes it real, ya know? Like now it’s ACTUALLY a problem. Have I just been trying to cover it up for 3 years and tell myself “it’s just not meant to be right now I guess”? Maybe I waited too long...

It’s so scary and daunting starting the medical side of this journey, so any suggestions, success stories, advice, etc. that any of you have would be greatly appreciated.

Baby dust to you all!
