Scared to Tell

I’m 24, almost 25. I’m married. I already have two kids. Well, we planned on announcing our third (and final) baby on the 4th of July to immediate family. I’d wait, but my first appointment isn’t until the end of July and I’m impatient. Anywho, today my mother in law made a joke because I said my parents were coming over the festivities on the 4th and she was like “Oh god, you’re not announcing another baby are you?”

We live with my husbands family. We have the bonus room but we already said we were going to be switching rooms with our girls so they can have the bigger room. So space isn’t a problem.

Now I know she’s joking. I know she’d be excited, she loves her granddaughters. But I can’t help but feel like this was a horrible idea. Now I’m scared to even say anything. I ordered shirts for my girls to wear from Amazon and I almost considered canceling the order. I’m more scared than excited at this point😅
