Necessary baby items?

What are some big ticket items that you couldn’t live without? FTM here and still working on finalizing my registry!

A rubber changing table!  They are the best for middle of the night diaper changing explosions. An easy wipe and the mess is all cleaned up.

We have a rocker that vibrates.. she loves it and sends her to sleep.
A night light.. sometimes she will wake up in the middle of the night.. it calms her down.. plus it has music to it.. so she loves that.
Next sleep suits.. love them as they are easy to do up.

Get a chair that is actually comfortable for the nursery, not sure if you’re putting it in your registry (my husbands grandma sent us money specifically for a chair). Personally I can’t stand ottomans and wooden gliders just make no sense to me, I wanted a power rocking recliner, it was so great during early postpartum and for nursing. We still use it to read bedtime stories in at 20 months.

A swing or some sort of rocker/bouncer seat. Something to put baby in that you can take with you into another room or in the bathroom while you shower and get ready!
Swaddlers with velcro.
A decent stroller if you like going on walks.
A good carrier if you plan on baby wearing, the cheap ones suck and hurt the back.

If you plan on doing lots of walking or shopping or bringing your kid around with you, invest in a good stroller. Hands down the best investment we made for our kiddo. We got a BOB Revolution Pro jogging stroller and it is amazing.
