How long after a sweep did you labour start?

Dr did a sweep, he said my cervix was low and effaced and I was about 3 cms. He always said he could feel the babies head, and my water was coming out of my cervix
It’s been about 2 hours and I’m dying. I swear he started my contractions. I’m trying to stick it out and see if my water breaks. 
The pressure I’m feeling is incredible right now. No urges to push, just a ton of pressure. 
How long after a sweep did you guys start labour? Should I get ready to go in soon?

My sweep started my contractions. They weren't consistent enough tk time until about 3 hours later. My water broke about 5 hours after my sweep but it was a super slow leak (tiny gushes rather than a steady leak) and I didn't realize it until after about 12 hours. I labored at home as long as I could because I was only 1cm at my appointment.

Get ready! I had my sweep in the afternoon, late lunch and a walk and started contractions later that night. Went to the hospital the next morning and had baby at 3pm.
