Is this early labor?

I’m 39 + 1 and I was at dinner when I all of a sudden felt super off, nauseous, and couldn’t eat my dinner. I went to the bathroom and had bright red blood with mucus plug when i wiped and my uterus is really crampy. I feel contractions but my stomach doesn’t get hard, if that makes sense. Baby hasn’t moved much at all today either.

Sounds like labor is close!! The day I went I to labor I remember baby was not moving much at all and at like 5:00 I was getting worried so laid down to do kick counts and 30 min later I stood up and boom my water breaks!

Exact same thing happened to me the night labor technically began but no real contractions until the next day! I was at a comedy show the night before my induction, ate but felt icky and off, around 2/3am that night peed and wiped and there was a good amount of blood. This turned into spotting all that night and through our next day up until my induction. Went in and they confirmed I had already been in labor with contractions 2 1/2 minutes apart! SOO def good sign lol

Sounds like you had ur bloody show and maybe some early labor contractions. I would start timing them. If they get to be consistent every 5 mins for a min long for atleast an hour then call your doctor.

I’d call your doctor about not feeling baby moving much today just in case. It does sound like you’re close! I never could feel tightening during contractions either tbh but I was definitely having them. Contractions can feel a little different for different women.
