Is there a chance I’ll get induced some time soon?

38 weeks currently but.. 
I’ve been 4cm dilated and 90% effaced since Wednesday 06/24. I get contractions here and there with back and hip pain but nothing that signals labor.
Is there a chance I’ll get induced sometime soon? Next appointment is Wednesday 07/01

They won’t induce you just because you’re dilated? I stayed that way for 4 weeks before I had my first. Labor was quick though. Good luck.

Ask, I was in a similar situation. I was sick of contractions that did nothing and my dr induced me after 39 weeks.

Dilation means nothing at this point. You can be dilated for weeks or you can change in hours. I don’t think anything you mentioned here is a reason to be induced.
