Anyone here have or is pursuing a Anthropology degree?

Hey ladies, im in need of some advice and im sorry in advance if this is all over the place or in the wrong group.

Im really struggling to pick a career path and stick to it, I'm incredibly indecisive and its starting to frustrate me. Im 26 years old and still cant decide on what I want to do! I feel like im just wasting time and before I know it, I'll be 30 without a career or at least a education 😑 im sick of working in low paying jobs and want to go back to school, I just cant pick what to go for.

I would really love doing something like Social/Cultural Anthropology. I love learning about different cultures, their customs and languages. From what I read, they are well rounded in many fields and can branch off to something different if they choose. Is that true??

How competitive is this field? Do you make a decent living wage? How hard is it to find a job once you completed your degree? My mother tells me its not a popular career and its in low demand so I shouldn't waste my time 😕 There's just something about this career that intrigues me so much, but I don't want to pick something and end up like many who do years of school and spend a shit ton of money just to not be able to find a job. Any advice is appreciated
