Do y’all think I should I really want my own space I’m 18 stay w my parents I have a 1yr old Im a single mom w no help from her dad n I get payed every 2 weeks I get around 1,500. I also have a car payment every 2 weeks of $370... what do y’all think i stay in tx n a regular apartment payment would be around 1k

It’s a 2008 gmc truck I really wanted a car n I didn’t have a driver’s license so I went to a place that didn’t require nothing n got that one I kinda regret it now 😭👎🏻 I should’ve at least gotten a newer one for what I’m paying 🥴🥴🥴🥴 I still have to pay 22k 😭

You pay $700/month for your car?? You need to look at getting a cheaper car first.

If your parents rent, I’d ask if they’d be willing to get a bigger home, if you help with rent. 
If not, I’d just wait. I’d only leaves you $1000 for groceries, utilities, emergencies, etc.

Holy smokes what kind of car u driving! Thats expensive! And I would set a goal and save as much as possible. Id focus on big picture of saving for a small home. Or if u can find something really really affordable, income based, like 5-600$ then id consider it for my own space. But id focus on that car... maybe trade rhat bad boy in. 370$ x a month plus insurance yowsers.
